Served on tap at Dubuque Mining Company restaurant in Dubuque, IA. What a pleasant surprise, balanced with good citrus flavor and a hint of wheat; not a single unpleasant thing about it, actually. Would willingly quaff several more, and they’re light enough that doing so wouldn’t be manifestly incapacitating!

16oz can. Poured out a cloudy, golden yellow color with a small, white head of fluffy foam. It left sudsy lace. It smelled of citrus, cracked wheat, caramel and bread crust. Sweet citrusy taste with wheat and lemon.

On tap at TBK Bank Sports Complex - Bettendorf, IA
L: served with an orange slice on the edge of the glass; hazy yellow-amber body with a thin off-white head
S: orange, citrus, wheat
T: orange, lemon, cracked wheat, white pepper, herbal hops
F: lighter body, ample carbonation, orangey finish
O: this was decent. Reminded me of a Blue Moon with the orange slice.

On tap at Whiskey Road, Cedar Falls, IA; served in a shaker pint glass. Slightly cloudy pale amber, with a thin (due to "boss" tap pour?) snow-white head. Light-bodied and citrusy, with notes of orange and lemon and hints of yeast and umami. Very low bitterness, clean and crisp on the finish. On a scale of 0-10, I would rate this at about 11.5 for drinkability. Highly recommended.

Very light, citrussy. Very smooth. Feels like a light beer but with flavor. Would be a great dinner drink.

Can from John’s poured into glass at home. Citrus definitely comes through.
