Served in 12oz Tulip. Poured a very clean and clear honey gold color with just a very thin ring of white head that had no retention and very good lacing. Kinda weird, eh?
The aroma had a low yeast/spice profile, and a very sweet aspect. On the tongue, the sweetness of the scent wasn't apparent, and the expected yeasty spice notes were more noticeable. The flavors lingered a bit at the end, and the beer had a semi-dry finish.
The body was perhaps slightly on the fuller side of typical for the style, and I tend to like Saisons a touch lighter than average. YMMV. Drinkability was pretty good, the beer was gone quickly after a chilly day slinging Christmas trees. Overall, a nice little brew. Not one that's gonna make you forget the leaders of the style, but one that is certainly worth your consideration if you see it.
