Current iteration is 5.2% ABV. Poured cola-colored in a mug from draft. Scent of vanilla. Malty taste, vanilla and rye present but not overpowering. Light mouthfeel. Very drinkable!

Bought a 4 pack of this at the chalet party store in elkhart indiana. The beer taste ok but is foamy as shit. Tried another poured it seriously slow, 4oz will foam over a pint glass. Tried another, drank from the can, foamy as shit. Kind of nasty to drink. Way better porters on the market than thus foamy crap. Wouldnt recommend.

I bought a can of this from the brewery whilst in South Bend for my son's hockey tournament. It poured an opaque dark with off white head that is not leaving any head. The scent had slight grain with vanilla and touch of anise. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink. Hints of vanilla and black licorice. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it's a solid offering.

From the tall boy can in a snifter via a friend from work---Thanks Justin!
This FINE porter pours a dark blackish brown with a decent head of off white
foam that settles to a thick ring, light thin pool, and features subtle light lacing.
Nose of roasted lightly charred malts, subtle vanilla, and a touch of dark cola.
Flavors lightly exceed the nose with dark cola and a touch of coffee mingling nicely
with dark roasted malts subtly touched by char with a touch of vanilla and a light
hint of zesty hops on the back mixing with the effervescence of the brew. Nice
body; medium mouth feel, medium high carbonation, and a roasted finish that
is balanced.

All in all a nice little brew that drinks more like a lager than an ale. That said
it is still a nice variant to the standard porter.

Cheers

Poured from a 16 oz. can. Has a black color with a 1 inch head. Smell is of roasted malts, smoke. Taste is roasted malts, coffee, some smokiness, a bit of rye sharpness, zero vanilla is present. Feels full bodied in the mouth and overall is an enjoyable beer.

Can to snifter. Black as night pour with creamy 2 finger light khaki head. Smells smokey roasted nuts burnt vanilla bean. Pretty complex as it warms slightly. Tastes along lines of nose, more vanilla, Keebler fudge Graham's, salted caramel toffee. Feel is pretty creamy and full. Overall not my favorite porter but this has some complexity to it that should be appreciated by a well trained nose and taste aficionado of which I am not..yet.

Undated can at 40 degrees (Hotel reefer temp) into hand washed and dried Brewery Vivant snifter, allowed to warm to 50 degrees
Aroma – roasted malt, weak. Gone before glass is emptied.
Head – large (4.8 cm, aggressive pour), light brown, creamy, diminishes to five to seven mm ring and thin rocky layer
Lacing – wide partial ring of tiny bubbles. An occasional drag mark.
Body dark brown/black, opaque
Flavor – not bad. A little chocolate from the malt, neither vanilla no rye. No hops, no alcohol, no diacetyl.
Palate – medium, creamy, soft carbonation
A pleasant, smooth stout lacking any hint of the advertised ingredients which caused me to purchase it. I would buy it again as a sipping-while-watching-MST3K beer.

Appearance 4, Aroma 3.75, Flavor 3, Palate 3.5, Overall 3.5
