16oz can from the Keg. Opens with a gush, a bit unexpected, pours out amber with one finger fluffy head. Tangy citrusy aroma. Taste brings sweet Malts, caramel and citrus, full bodied. Light citrus and toffee in the taste. Opens with a bang, settles out to a sweet, syrupy brew.

Appearance: A bubble show quickly builds a sturdy one finger head atop the slightly hazy light amber colored liquid; excellent retention and quite a few strands of lacing form
Smell: Caramel and earthy hops provide a balance to the aroma
Taste: The caramel base supports the earthy hop progression; a bit of pine emerges in the finish
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate to high carbonation
Overall: Nobody seems to claim to make an APA anymore but, to my palate, that is what this is; I would even say it verges on an English Pale Ale, a style I haven't tasted in years, so it seems

Pour is a hazy golden copper, light tan head, with significant citrus aromas - when I popped the top, I thought an orange grove fell on my hotel room.
Taste is citrus up front, but there's a significant malt base, too, making this a very balanced and hazy IPA.

I got a can of this from the brewery during a hockey tournament for my son at Notre Dame. The beer poured a cloudy orangish with thin white head that is leaving a spotty lace. The scent had hints of citrus peel. The taste leans bitter with touches of grapefruit. The mouthfeel was medium in body with good carbonation. Overall it was ok.
