I bought a can of this at the brewery whilst in Norte Dame for my son's hockey tournament. It poured an opaque dark with no head and no lace. The scent had hints of coconut and very subtle bourbon. The taste carried chocolate, coconut and almond. The mouthfeel was medium in body with good carbonation. Overall it's a decent beer.

Appearance- From the can, the beer poured black with a huge mocha head.
Smell- Toasted coconut is in the nose, it is not overpowering.
Taste - Soft coconut is at the front with chocolate following in the back. There is a certain floral presence that gives way to cookie like moths. The chocolate seems to darken in the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel- Perhaps it is an illusion created by the coconut, but the stout seems creamy and smooth.
Overall- This is not my favorite coconut stout, but it is good. The cost is certainly more palatable than most in the style.
