This is the beer brand for a large and successful French supermarket chain whose ambition is the food transition. To the extend that includes better beer (given the French bias to wine), Carrefour's ambition sounds good to me. They also have this more unstated mission of bringing quality to the masses. who knows if they do? Yet for trying, I give them good Overall Hugs as a brewer.
Pils 1516 is too sweet for a pils and needs more hops at least to finish. While it Looks paler than most pils, its liveliness is mostly bubbles; needs foam. Smells a mostly sweet malt. Tastes try to use hops for balance, but never get there. Not quite medium-mouthed. However, this was a good table lager with appetisers and I could make it a lunch lager if I didn't have enough options at that moment.

De Carrefour. En copa shaker. Jugando a Fortnite. Industrial de cuerpo ligero pero perfil acaramelado que resulta agradable.
