From the can, it pours a very slightly hazy amber color with a modest white head that leaves a bit of lacing. The nose gets a dose of hops - orange in particular. The taste is a bit of citrus over the malt. Easy drinking IPA.

A: The beer is hazy pale yellow in color and seems to have a light to moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a narrow collar of white bubbles around the edge of the glass and a thin layer of bubblers covering the surface.
S: Light aromas of citrusy hops - oranges stand out in particular - are present in the nose along with underlying hints of caramel malts.
T: The taste follows the smell, except that the flavors of orange citrus and caramel/pale malts are a bit more balanced. There is a slight amount of bitterness.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied and a bit crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is hardly hoppy at all and tastes more like a Pale Ale or an English IPA.

The past couple of days have been an amazing CANmalgam of Goses & Pilsners, but now my supply is exhausted. I had the Duvel as kind of an oddball, but it will lead me back to some of the breweries from which I reviewed beers the last couple of days, including Transmitter, Manayunk (CANayunk), Sly Fox, Conshohocken (CANshohocken), Sloop & Great North. Following that excursion, I will be focusing on imports for a while, bringing me full circle to that one. Stay tuned. It's gonna be CANother wild ride on The CANQuest (tm)! For while, beginning now, it is going to look like an undulating sine wave, bouncing between Lickinghole Creek, Two Bandits & Manayunk!

From the CAN: "9 Mile Lickinghole Creek India Pale Ale"; "Virginia's Farm Brewery"; "Clean Water For All."; "You might not even know it, but you just contributed to bringing hope and access to clean water to a remote village high in the mountains of Jamaica. A portion of the proceeds from this brew go to build community wells for the village of 9 Mile. Thank you for your support."

That's pretty cool! I celebrated doing good by Crack!ing open the vent on this latest CAN, which made me feel even better. I CANtinued with a slow, gentle C-Line Glug into the awaiting glass. I was pleasantly surprised by … ah, but that is jumping the gun. It foamed up beautifully to form two-plus fingers of dense, foamy, rocky, butterscotch-colored head with excellent retention. The surprise was the nose. It wafted up and filled the air from the moment that I beCAN the Glug! It was fresh, floral, citrusy & when I leaned in for a whiff, I got orange marmalade & honey on freshly-baked bread. 8=O Color was an oh-so-faintly-hazy Golden-Amber (SRM = > 5, < 7), resembling honey in my glass. 8=O What izzit with me & honey lately? Mouthfeel was medium. The taste, while still of slightly-bitter orange, honey & bready malt(s), was not as intense as it had been on the nose. Don't misunderCANd me - there was nothing wrong with it, but the nose just set a high bar for my expectations. This was very pleasant & a great way to kick off Mother's Day 2020. Finish was dry, leaving me CANtemplating a sudden icy coolness that appeared after the swallow. Mmm. YMMV.

Looks nice and cloudy and smells full of citrus hops

6.5% alcohol but goes down nice and easy
Not the typical super strong ipa that is hard to drink with insane amount of hops
Superb beer, love it

Poured from a can into a pint glass. Pours cloudy yellow orange with a nice white head. Smells of citrus hops with just a hint of sweet grain. Tastes of citrus and piney hops with hints of sweet grain and just a little passion fruit. Beer is light/medium bodied and easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, a very good beer.

473 ml can served cold into a chalice, LCBO purchase for around $3.50 CDN.

Appearance - hazy, rich golden color with a finger of perfectly white head. Medium retention and a nice looking ring of lacing at the edge of the glass. A little bit of sediment in the beer.

Smell - fairly tropical although subdued with pineapple mango and grapefruit leading the way. Possible some cantaloupe mixed in. Above average nose.

Taste - low on intensity, but quite a bit of pineapple flavor showing through. Hints of melon and little bitterness, although not really juicy either.

Mouthfeel - medium- light bodied, although a touch sticky to finish, carbonation is quite light.

Overall - a surprisingly good and tropical IPA. For those who enjoy pineapple this will hit the spot.

Pours hazy peach with a frothy, smallish head. Citrus and white pepper with some cookie dough in the nose. The taste is of lemon, lime and peach hops with a solid, chewy, biscuit malt ballast. The mouthfeel is full bodied with medium carbonation. moderate bitterness and lingering maltiness in the finish.

This IPA has an interesting hop profile and lots of malt presence. Worth a try.
