Poured into a snifter. No date on bottle.
Look: Very dark with some slight light coming through. Two inch head on the aggressive pour.
Smell: After warming quite a bit out of the fridge, chocolate, char, spicy cinnamon and earthy pepper.
Taste: Very balanced between sweetness of malts and the bitterness of the modest amount of hops and peppers. Really tasty after warming in the glass for about 30 minutes.
Feel: Moderate carbonation.
Overall: A very nice tequila barrel aged imperial stout. Exceptionally easy drinking for 13.5%. LCC just introduced into Philadelphia and the beers I've tried are very impressive.
