A Belgian-style wheat. Light tasting with a clean finish.

From a pint can, it pours a translucent golden color, with a decent head that fades quickly.
Aroma and flavor are wheat malt, coriander/clove. Very tropical, banana, lemon, & orange.
A refreshing Wit with a very good flavor profile and mild bitterness.

Enjoyed at Costa d'Este in Vero Beach. Golden, orange color, thick white head. This beer has both wit and hefeweizen characteristics. It's spiced with coriander, brewed with oranges and has a delightful Belgian wheat bite. But I have a hunch the yeast used delivers the cloves and banana vibe of a Hefe. All in all, it works. Delightful beer.

Had this at CITCI ball park in West Palm Beach. Poured a hazy gold color with a hint of orange hue. Good head that kept through out the session along with strong lacing. Taste marked with wheat, coriander and orange. Slight pepper kick. Aroma has same combo of spice. Low carbonation and bitterness. Good wibier.

The pour is a hazy marmalade color & the head goes flat real quick (sigh). The taste is coriander & orange but the orange is a bit much, they should have gone with the typical orange peel which is what most brewers use for the Belgian Witbier style rather that actual orange juice. Cheers! C

Served on tap at Yards House in Orlando, Florida.
A: Pours an ever so slightly hazy, golden color with a 1 finger, white head, more than rim retention, and moderate camouflage shaped lacing.
S: Aromas banana, lemon, coriander, and cloves.
T: More semidry than semisweet. Flavor largely derived from nose, but citrusy with a strong does of coriander. Medium bitterness for the style.
M: Light bodied with low to moderate carbonation.
O: A very drinkable and enjoyable Wit.

A pleasant wit.
While it is less hazy than typical, this wit still Looks the part with a fluffy white head with very big bubbles that eventually becomes lace. Smells are more average with only strong orange coming through. Tastes are slightly better as it has gentle spicing and a very soft Feel from the wheat. I lately am having wits with Indian food and had White Marlin with Chana Masala and it paired well enough. Cooled the palate.
I went on Sailfish's website and they don't seem to distinguish themselves much from other Florida brewers: young and growing each year, presumably with more tourism business. I did notice they seem to specialize in Belgians. So, I'd like to try some of the more challenging styles next year and see how Sailfish has matured.
