Northtown Native is a light, refreshing, full bodied ale that is brewed and fermented as if it were a lager. Up front the taste is light and crisp with a malt backbone and American Sterling hops finish, to create a great session beer.

Enjoyed on Draft out of a Nonic at Old Chicago: A golden amber color with a thin half a finger head, and low carbonation. Aroma is bready. A tasty, easy drinking and refreshing beer.

On tap. Poured out a clear, golden yellow color with a small, white head of foam. It smelled of toasted caramel and floral notes. Sweet toasted caramel with a mild bitterness.

Pours a clear, gold color. 1/5 inch head of a white color. Slight retention and slight lacing. Smells of pale malt, sweet malt, hint of wheat, hint of hop, and hint of yeast. Fits the style of a California Common / Steam Beer. Mouth feel is sharp and crisp, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of slight yeast, slight wheat, pale malt, hint of sweet malt, hint of hop, and slight adjunct. Overall, weak appearance, decent aroma, feel, and body.
