Vietnamese Inspired Coffee Milk Stout

Pours black with two fingers of mocha colored foam. Good retention. Aroma is lactose, with roasty and toasty malts just behind the initial flash of sweetness. Small hit of roasty coffee, but not forward. Bready malts at the end. Flavor profile is roasty and toasty malts throughout, with mild caramel underneath. Grassy and earthy hops become more apparent at the end. Coffee is present throughout, but it's minor. Mouth feel is medium in thickness. Texture is fuzzy with a very slight grit. Overall, solid. Mild, with a little forward coffee. Not a meal, but still hearty.

12oz can. Poured out an opaque, jet-black color with a small, light brown head of foam. It left minimal lacing on the glass. It smelled of roasted coffee, chocolate, caramel and toffee. Strong roasted coffee taste with sweet chocolate and toffee.
