264 pounds of the stuff, & nothing else! Pronounced orange & peach fruit, some pungent chive/cannabis elements, black tea, & an earthy herbal character reminiscent of the bass tones of Nelson.

I had this on draught at McGuire's in Albany, NY. 12 oz. pour served in a goblet. It pours a medium gold with a finger of fluffy, milk-white head and lacing that remained through the pour. It's well-carbonated with lots of bubbles. The nose features grapefruit, lemon, and a whiff of lime, along with pine needles and floral hops. It's highly aromatic. The taste opens with a blast of bitterness and sour grapefruit but towards the finish there's a really pleasant sweet vanilla taste and some tangy fruit. This ale has a fairly creamy mouth feel with lively carbonation and its 8% ABV gives it substance without being distracting. Overall, this DIPA is another winner from Grimm. It satisfies all sensations and is thoroughly enjoyable. It more than held its own paired with a bacon cheeseburger and it would be equally enjoyable for casual drinking.

On tap, pours a gorgeous, very hazy orange. About a finger of dense white foam leaves beautiful lacing, way more than you normally see at this ABV. Smell is unmistakably Grimm--passion fruit and citrus, but with a weedy dankness. Taste is similar. Solid bitterness. Great rich feel, drinkable but with some substance. Love this. Appreciate the bitter quality, as I don't love the trend of low bitterness. This is a masterfully brewed beer.
