Cloudbusting is our series of soft, delicate imperial IPA’s brewed with New Zealand hops. We rotate different NZ hops into each batch. Cloudbusting #4 turned out beautifully; we taste honeydew melon, clementines, honeysuckle, and that telltale “purple tropical” note that we often get from the New Zealand terroir. The beer has a soft mouthfeel, gorgeous yeast-free haze, some hop floaties, and some of the loveliest lacing and foam you’ve seen on a beer in your life. Cloudbusting #4 is brewed with Wai-iti, Waimea, and Motueka.

On tap, pours a light straw gold with light haze. Solid lacing. Smell has an almost honey-like sweetness. I totally get the "purple tropical thing." Taste follows with a sweet and tart balance that works well. Good bitterness. Really good.

On tap at Aurora Brew Works in East Aurora, NY.
This one pours an about halfway clear orange color, with a small head, and a ton of lacing.
This smells pretty catty, with some dank melon, pine, and grassiness.
This is a bit too cat pissy for me. The other Cloudbusting entries were better, but this is still pretty nice anyway. It's quite earthy, with an interesting bitterness, along with guava and melon.
This is light bodied and crisp, but doesn't finish all that cleanly.
This isn't Grimm's best IPA, but I wouldn't kick it out of bed.

Gross, snowy looking, orange looking beer that is exactly how I want a beer to look. Tons of sweetness on the nose with orange citrus and pine. The taste is wonderfully sweet and citrusy with a pine/pith bitter finish. Fantastic beer.
