Poured from a 16oz can into a speiglau IPA glass.

Look is a cloudy yellow with a thin white head.

Aroma is light and fruity.

Taste absolutely explodes. Almost takes like juicy fruit. Delicious.

Canned 5/19/17 and consumed 7/1/17

Just showed up in a mixed Hop box this morning, so enjoying in the late evening. Very bitter up front and on the end. Somewhere in between there is a mash-up of tropical fruit and almost a mushroom like earthiness. Soft feel.

The base beer, Tesseract, features Mosaic, Falconer's Flight, and Citra hops. This here double dry hopped edition features Mosaic cryo hops in addition to conventional hop pellets.

Hazy gold body with a few fingers of white foam that left some lace arms trailing behind... Lots of tropical fruit on the nose, maybe some floral elements at play as well... The taste follows suit, bringing various tropical impressions, with a creaminess to them as well as something vaguely earthy and dank around the edges - very mild, mind you, but providing for a very smooth, mellow beer... Bitterness is moderate, sweetness, too... Medium-bodied, and again, creamy soft and smooth... A real treat.

Label looks real similar to the standard version, 'cept the word Grimm is in pink not blue, and there's a little gold circle with DDH in it on the side of the can... 5/19/17 canning...

Pours an opaque hazy rusty gold color, and has a juicy foamy head. Nose and palate have bold juicy and tropical notes. The flavor on this is amazingly juicy and hoppy. Mouthfeel is full! This is the best Grimm IPA I've had to date.

On tap, pours a beautiful orange-gold. A couple of fingers of off-white foam leaves lots of sticky lacing. Lots of haze, just shy of being fully opaque.

Smell is tropical hop candy--passionfruit, mango, orange and melon. As it warms, some earthy notes and berries come in.

Taste is big on melon, followed by layers of other fruits and some earthiness. Some drying, resinous bitterness in the finish.

Feel is a light-ish medium, super drinkable. Overall, a killer beer that is recognizably Grimm.

3 weeks from canning date

Appearance- Pours a hazy, soft golden yellow color, glowing with brightness. Fluffy and creamy white colored head, lots of streaky head lacing holds to glass.

Aroma- Juicy citrus notes, tangerines, oranges, slight grapefruit. Sweeter tropical fruits, pineapple, papaya, earthy mango. Fresh and ripe melon notes, both sweet honeydew and juicy cantaloupe.

Taste- Bursts with fresh, juicy fruits. Lots of citrus juice notes, sweeter type oranges, clementines, tangerines. Sweet pineapple juice, passionfruit. Fresh melon, juicy cantaloupe. Zesty and earthy touch on the finish, zesty mango, grapefruit and lemon.

Feel- Medium bodied, very soft and creamy, delicate type sweetness, slight dryness on the finish. Fluffy carbonation.

Overall- A wonderfully exceptional double IPA. Such intensity to the juicy fruitiness, lots of citrus notes up front quickly followed by sweet candied notes of melon and tropical fruit. A nice balancing touch of zest and bitterness on the finish.

Pours deep amber with a big two finger white head that fades slowly as it hangs on the sides of the snifter. Great lacing. Aroma of hops, hard candies and citrus.
Taste follows the nose with melon, passionfruit, mango, and grapefruit, along with a light bitterness finish. Excellent DDH by Grimm. I really enjoy this one.

This one pours a very murky and hazy glowing orange, with a small head, and lots of sticky lacing.

This has a wonderful hop candy/candied citrus thing going on in the nose- smells delightful. There's also that classic Vermont-style dankness that the original Tesseract was known for- light resin and cannabis.

This is one of the best Grimm DIPAs in a long, long time. Most have been good in the last 1-2 years, but at times they feel a bit "samey." This bucks the trend. It's really fruity, with lots of melon, passionfruit, mango, and grapefruit, along with a nice subtle but lingering bitterness on the finish.

This is medium bodied, both chewy and crisp, with a normal level of carbonation for a DIPA.

This is absolutely wonderful, and should be sought out post-haste.
