i have had several of these pop beers now from these guys, and i think i like the fruity ones more than the hoppy ones. like, this is a weird expression of galaxy, and the sweetness of the milk sugar and the vanilla take away from the fresh herbal character i usually look for in the varietal, and as much as this tastes good, its a weird mix of flavors and sensations with the sourness, and it seems like more of a novelty than a drinker. its pale and creamy headed, softly hazy, very fizzy, and with a super interesting aroma. a lot of vanilla here, not subtle at all on that, and some earthy dry almost raw wheat, i like that i can get some grain right away. the hops hint at candied lime, lemongrass, and honeydew melon, with green grape character as well, juicy and mouthwatering with the piquant lactic souring right there alongside it. if this were just a berliner with galaxy, i think i would like it better, but its almost like a cream soda more than a beer at its base, and the sweetness is weird with the hops. no bitterness here at all predictably, but the hops dont feel like their full selves even aside from that, overbalanced by the milk sugar, i definitely get a melted ice cream element, but like the cheap vanilla from mcdonalds or something, sweet and not quite natural on the vanilla side, weird, good, but weird. this is definitely a different side of galaxy hops, and its as well done as something like this could be. fun to drink, but i wouldnt want much more than a pint can. always fun to drink beers from grimm, this is a guilty pleasure sort of thing because i like the taste but i hate the new school everything needs lactose and dry hopping inspiration...

22oz bomber poured into a tulip glass. pours a milky, hazy gold with thick, powdery sediment chunks at the bottom of the glass. this beer looks quite stunning. smells of dank hops with a little smack of sweetness and acidity. tastes is hoppy, somewhat tropical with a tart, sweet finish. feel is decent for the style. bubbly, thinner, doesn’t last long on the tongue. overall, pretty decent. quite rich for such a little beer but it’s still refreshing.

Straw yellow and lightly hazy in appearance. Light Brussels lacing. There's a three quarter inch creamy dense dishwater white head. The aroma is of lactose and vanilla. I'm tasting a lot of very sweet lactose and vanilla. This tastes like a dessert beer. The mouth is very smooth and creamy.

Hazy, straw colored. Tart smell with big citrus flavors. It’s 93 degrees and this is a perfect beer for today
