Ah, Lambo Door. The original was one of the beers that got me hooked on Grimm back when it was nearly impossible to find without having to go from place to place across The Big Apple. Thankfully, they have their own space now right by Interboro although this was something that I traded for before they had opened that up. No, this wasn't fresh but it was on par with their other offerings as it had quite a bit going for it!

Canned on 6/25/18 with "BROOKLYN BATCH #3" written above it, this may have actually been brewed there as I'm starting to wonder if I actually bought this at the brewery. Regardless, this had an amber hue with lots of dark sediment suspended in it. Enough head topped this off as the lacing could have been a bit more ringed and extensive. The soapy layers didn't quite go all the way around but there was enough to indicate that this beer had some thickness to it. Bready, dank, and spicy, the aroma had lots of scallions, deep hops, and spicy grain in it as they were all indicative of what was to come. Lots of booze, weed, earthy chocolate, and forest came through in the taste as the hop attributes were still quite prevalent after all this time.

The same could be said for the booze in this as this felt and tasted like a strong beer. That enhanced everything that was going on as the bread was not as strong here as it was in the regular version of this. Bright, balanced, and nicely carbonated, there wasn't a lot of sediment left in the liquid as I finished this up. Once again, Grimm has a winner here that feels like something out of Humboldt brewing with a taste from this neck of the woods thrown in for good measure. This is as close to canned weed as one can legally get!
