Notes:
Hazy New England-style double IPA featuring Amarillo, Centennial, and Galaxy hops. Flavors of unripe mango and floral tropical fruit intersect with old-school piney and woodsy hop characteristics.

look: 4.25 | smell: 4 | taste: 3.75 | feel: 3.75 | overall: 3.75
by ScaryEd from New Hampshire
Poured from a growler filled directly at the source.
Pours a hazy burnt orange color with a finger of creamy off-white head. The head leaves a few splotches of lacing before settling into a thick blanket.
The aroma brings notes of peaches, mangoes, and oranges before a wave of bready malt. The back end brings a faint earthy pine note. Very floral and subtly spicy.
The flavor has loads of mangoes and honeydew melons, with some pineapple. Finishes very rindy, with some pine and bready malt. Floral and musty.
The feel is medium bodied with moderately high carbonation. Creamy, yet a bit oily. The alcohol is present but only just.
Overall, a very good DIPA that utilizes 3 fantastic hop varieties. It's relatively well-balanced and drinkable.
