Sunroof is our hazy, fluffy 5.5% pale ale. Motueka and Azacca dry hops lend notes of watermelon and pear.

Pours a cloudy apricot color with a one finger white head that was very well retained and left a lot of lacing. Smells of tropical and citrus fruits with a bit of pine. Tastes of orange, mango, pear, apple, lime, lime zest and pine. Medium bodied, light carbonation, mild bitterness and a creamy mouth feel.

Pale, cloudy, orange beer with a sticky off white head. The nose is filled with citrus and piney/herbal hops. Lightly sweet with citrus and lime with a pretty decent bitter finish. Nice solid beer.

A: Pours a murky medium golden apricot in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising along the edges of the glass and moderate orange + dark golden yellow + honey colored highlights. The beer has a three finger tall dense sudsy foamy bright white head that reduces to a couple of small to medium sized patches of medium thick film surrounded by a large patch of very thin film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer and a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass. Just shy of moderate amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Slightly stronger than moderate aromas of slightly juicy tropical/melon, citrus/lime zest, tropical/mango, stone fruit/apricot, pear, and herbal hops over the top of light aromas of biscuit + doughy + caramel malts with a light amount of caramel sweetness.
T: Upfront there are slightly heavier than light flavors of biscuit + doughy + caramel malts with a light amount of caramel sweetness. That is followed by slightly heavier than moderate flavors of slightly juicy tropical/melon, citrus/lime zest, tropical/mango, stone fruit/apricot, pear, and herbal hops which impart a hint of bitterness which fades away quickly leaving lingering melon + pear + herbal hop flavors.
M: Just shy of medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Slightly crisp upfront with a soft fluffy mid-body and a hint of dryness in the finish.
O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol and a pleasantly soft mouthfeel. Very enjoyable and I could easily have a couple of these.

This beer is a more flavorful and balanced than a lot of DIPAs I’ve tasted.
Very cloudy golden color with a 4F head. Spiegelau IPA glass.
Floral, citrus, orange aroma.
Lighter body.
Excellent taste. Citrus, orange, well-blended with a moderate hoppy finish.
At 5.5 this is a very enjoyable beer.

CANNED ON 7/20/18
Cloudy yellow with a dense ring of a head. Soft, juicy aromas of melon, lime, and peppery herbs and pine needles. Zesty lemon/lime citrus, apricot, and mango finishing with a light doughiness. Fluffy and super drinkable. Tasty.

Poured from a 16 oz can into a willie pint glass.
Pours a hazy orange color with a finger of white head. The head leaves a few splotches of lacing before settling into a thin sheet.
The aroma brings notes of pears, candied lemon, and melon. The back end is faintly bready.
The flavor brings lots of candied peaches and pears, with some subtly tart lemon and a strong melon finish.
The feel is medium-light bodied with soft carbonation. Very creamy, soft and fluffy. Finishes relatively dry.
Overall, a good pale ale that is flavorful and has a great body. Definitely worth trying again.
