This one pours a fairly hazy golden yellow color, with a small white head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like melon, candied hops, lemon, lime, and guava.
I like the balance between bitterness v juice here - there's an herbal and grassy bitterness here, and it works well for me. Motueka hops are always intriguing and tasty to me - I get herbal bitterness, I get some lemon/lime, I get mango, I even get some guava, maybe.
This is light bodied, and pretty clean, with no real booziness to it. It drinks pretty easily.
I still like Grimm, even all these years later of being one of the first breweries I ever got into.

A: The beer is hazy and somewhat pale yellow in color. It poured with a half finger high white head that left a thin layer of bubbles on the surface, a narrow collar around the edge, and some lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of honeydew melon and lychee are present in the nose along with hints of basil.
T: The taste follows the smell, except there are stronger flavors of basil to go along with those of the honeydew melon and the lychee with additional notes of kiwi.
M: It feels medium-bodied and juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I enjoyed the aromas and flavors imparted by the New Zealand hops in this IPA. It also did a very good job at hiding any traces of alcohol from the taste.

Appearance - Pours bright murky orange with a big soapy white head great retention. Spotty lacing all around the glass.
Aroma - Mild tropical fruit mango, orange, citrus peel, alcohol comes through just a bit. Light grassy hops.
Taste - Taste is strong mango and big ripe orange, really bitter citrus peel on the finish balances out the sweetness up front. the grassy hops are really noticeable as well.
Feel - Medium bodied, soft carbonation nice slightly dry finish.
Overall - Really well done DIPA, great flavors smooth easy drinking
