Canned 6.1, opened 6.23
Can poured into a teku
Two finger rich dense creamy white foam cap, very good retention , settles to a big creamy island , some lacings , over hazy orange liquid
Smells like orange citrus
Taste of orange citrus hops
Low sudsing , no hop bite,
Good beer

Crowler from Spence (aka ThirstyYesterday).
Looks like he got it from Craft Beer Cabin in Plattsburgh, NY. They wrote on the crowler "5.4%". Alright, it is what it is, here's the rest of my observations.
This was poured into a becher pint glass.
The appearance was a thick pale hazy yellowed tone color with a finger's worth of white foamy head falling off at a decent pace. Some clingy lace stuck around the sides of the glass nicely.
The aroma had a huge full bittersweet blend of citrus and ruby red grapefruit pulpy juice. Some sweet grass, sweetgum tree and white pepper dot a white bready malty backbone.
The flavor presents a wonderful blend of the bittersweet juicy citrus and ruby red grapefruit juice. It's full and charges into the aftertaste indulgently, slightly sticky.
The mouthfeel was almost medium bodied, perhaps just a touch under. Nice low carbonation as expected for a New England styled APA. ABV seemed close to what was projected. And an awesome juicy bittersweet finish.
Overall, an absolutely stellar New England styled APA well worthy of having again.

On tap at Tap and Mallet in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a super hazy and murky yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like a big Citra bomb, as expected- grapefruit and orange, and a bit of mango, with melon as well.
This is pretty good, but the flavors falls off a bit on the backend. Upfront, it's a big juice bomb, though, with tons of sweet grapefruit and OJ type flavors, and a bit of rindy bitterness.
This is kind of thin, and just slightly watery- I want it to be softer. It's still pretty drinkable, though.
This is my first beer from Grimm from their new facility- it's not my favorite from them, but I'm looking forward to trying more.

My first beer by Grimm made me realize this is a brewer to be reckoned with. Hazy grapefruit juice look, delicious citrus aroma (Thank you, Citra!), and a nicely complex deep and long-lasting hop bite.
