4/12/22 can from Whole Foods on the UES. Pours an almost clear light amber gold with two fingers of rocky white head that sticks around, nice lacing, smell is cereal malts, multigrain bread, sprouted herbs, and hint of grass, taste follows the nose with cereal malts, multigrain bread, honey, mild chamomile/herbal tea, assertive grassy bitterness on the finish that lingers, feel is light, snappy carbonation, dry finish. Very drinkable, honey smacks/golden crisp vibes with some welcome bitterness.

On tap at Grimm in Brooklyn.
Pours a semi clear yellow, with fine, soapy head.
Smell is bready and clean with floral hop notes and some citrus.
Taste is crisp and bready, with a fine, floral bitterness and some citrus notes. Fairly dry finish.
Mouthfeel is medium and a bit creamy, well carbonated.
Overall, a nice, balanced pilsner, less bitter and hoppy than the Americans tend to be.

Pours a foggy straw color with a finger of white head. Good retention. Aroma is pilsner malt, straw, and light herbal hops. Hop bite is a little strong for a pilsner. Flavor profile is nutty, pilsner malts, and herbal, floral, and spicy hops. Hops play a slightly stronger role in the flavor profile than most pilsners. There is a yeasty, semi-dryness to it. Mouth feel is fuzzy with an almost chalky texture. It has a medium-thick consistency. Overall, an intriguing pilsner between the more heavy hop usage and texture. Worth visiting.

16oz. can into Night Shift stemware.
Nice looking beer if a touch cloudy. Nose is a clean, crisp hop bitterness. A little mellow. Beer opens lemon zest, peppercorn and cobwebs with a biting, brief hop bitterness. A touch waxy in the middle. Clean hop presence at the end and finish. Really enjoyable. Body is light with moderate carbonation. I thought I would like something more carbed in this style but a touch less bubbles really works for me here. Very drinkable.
Up there with the better pilsners I've had.

Golden color with a light off white head. This is what I expected a German Pilsner to be. Crisp light bitterness with a clean feel. German hops and malt are simple and make this an easy drinking light beer. No lingering aftertaste that one would expect from a bad pilsner.
