First sampled this brew via a few crowlers, and have since managed to snag a sixtel for my kegerator. Looks dull orange (almost tan) and thick. Smell is somewhat suppressed with mango, peach and a hint of grapefruit. Taste is floral, hoppy with a distinct bitter finish. Feel is just exactly right. Overall a superior NEIPA from a brewery that is quickly becoming my favorite.

Really hazy peach color with off-white head. Aroma is really hoppy, dank and juicy with lots of chives and vegetal notes. Taste follows, really hoppy and dank, also herbal and bitter on the finish. Medium plus body with medium carbonation. Pretty good, not too boozy, medium leafy bitterness.

Pours a hazy medium straw color, minimal head. Huge dank hop aroma. Sweet and dry, big dank hop flavor; tropical fruits - mango, pineapple, lots of guava. Very good DIPA.

Pours a semi-shiny orange color. Completely opaque, but not sludgy in appearance. Thick three finger white head dissipates leaving sticky white lacing on the glass and a thin spot of foam on top of the beer.

Aroma has notes lemon, lemongrass, weed, with some subtle notes of mango, pineapple and pine. Overall the aroma is incredibly dank.

Taste has notes of orange, pine, peaches, mangoes, and some berry notes - most reminiscent of strawberries. In addition there is strong dank weedy aspect to the flavor profile. All together its a very nice profile. While sweet, it is not overly sweet. Moderate bitterness starts midway through and lingers through to the finish. Slight spiciness to the profile.

Feel is quite light and drinkable. Moderate to medium carbonation provides a slightly fizzy sensation on the palate.

Overall a really nice NE style IPA from Grimm. The flavor profile is rather unique and sets this beer apart from other examples of the style. This is as dank as I've a NE style IPA, but it works really well.

another haze bomb from these guys, this one a little less compelling and distinctive than some of their others i have had in this style, but its hard to argue with the formula of keeping the malt fluffy and dry, and dry hopping the brains out of the beer, its working no matter what ingredients they use. this one is a little thicker, paler, and milkier than i have gotten used to from grimm, not messy or anything, just more substantial on the haze. the aroma and flavor are great, very fresh, a little less fruit forward, more dank and resinous, pine and juniper ahead of citrus this time, lemon balm and something herbaceous too, but most distinctly, some bitterness, which i have said before, but i really like in my new england styles, it just makes it more ipa-esque, more dynamic and complete, and although its mild, its a useful feature of this one. i credit the columbus hops for most of that. a little heavier than a lot of them, not because of the alcohol but because of all the sediment in here, its a lot to wade though, and i think its more than really fits the hop profile. still, by any measure this is awesome and way ahead of the field of wannabees.

On tap at Tap and Mallet in Rochester, NY.

This one pours a very hazy golden yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.

This smells like lemony hops, stone fruit, sweet grapefruit, white pepper, weed, pine, and mango.

This has a really unique flavor to it. It's got a fascinating bitterness, slightly peppery, slightly lemon rind-y, and very marijuana-heavy. There's also a great juiciness, with strawberry and grapefruit mainly, and some definite lighter tones of mango and strone fruit. Grimm NE-style IPAs always tend to feature some different textures and tones than the usual pure juice bomb motif, and I can definitely appreciate that.

This is light bodied, with a lingering bitterness on the back end, and a great level of drinkability.

I'm really loving the fact that Grimm's new beers from their own taproom are reminding of why I fell in love with Grimm in the first place.

Smell: Floral and citrus.

Taste Compex sweet with a touch of honeys me coming off lightly peppery.

Mouth: sticky. Medium bubbles with a descent bubbles. Feels a little more potent.

Overall: Great FN beer. Would grab a case just to keep a cold one steady in my little fridge. Salud!

Pours the color of orange juice. A moderate foamy and creamy head soon dissipates, it displays nice lacing.
There aroma is fruity and inviting. There is initially a burst of tropical fruit, particularly pineapple. Then, zesty citrus, strong aromas of orange pith and grapefruit pulp. Additional aromas of berries and peach.
The taste opens sweet and juicy with flavors of grapefruit pulp, freshly squeezed orange juice, hints of tropical fruit, peach and berries. A moderately low hops bitterness begins to develop, as does a spicy grass and pine flavor, complimented by zesty citrus peel. Overall, it is juicy, with a moderate sweetness balanced with herbal hops spices.
Medium bodied, smooth and moderately carbonated. Juicy mouthfeel that has a zesty citrusy sting and a spicy and dry finish.
Overall a fantastic and delicious DIPA.
