Brewed with 100% New York State-grown ingredients, Today’s Special NY highlights the terroir of our home state. This luscious pale ale is brewed with New York-grown winter barley and red winter wheat from 1886 Malt House, and hopped aggressively with Chinook and Centennial grown by Chimney Bluffs Hoppery. It boasts big C-hop flavors of resinous pine, refreshing herbal bitterness, and sweet candied citrus backed by velvety and flavorful local malt character. We love experiencing how these beloved hops change in aromatic expression when moved from the pacific Northwest to our own growing region!

Pours a hazy dark yellow with fine, soapy head.
Smell is floral and perfumed, with notes of citrus, mango and some spruce.
Taste is floral and citrusy. Notes of melon, peach and some pine, with a moderate bitterness and some orange peel on the finish.
Mouthfeel is medium, well carbonated.
Overa, a very nice, balanced APA.

Hazy yellow color poured from freshly canned into a glass. No head or bubbles. Smooth as can be going down. Some nice delicate citrus top note scents combined with a hoppy body. Aftertaste just as good and smooth as when going down. Once again, Grimm proves they excel in all beer styles, not just their unique sours. One of the pale ales you will ever try. Get it, if you can!
