Grimm Artisanal Ales

Bottled summer 2020, tasted 12/24/20. This beer was something else! So much aroma and flavor! Reminiscent of a dry champagne, but very much its own thing. The downside of this beer for me was actually its potency - not the alcohol level, but the intensity of its smell/flavor. It had a floral element that was so powerful and went straight up your nose so that it almost felt like drinking some sort of hand soap. I don't think I would have ever guessed that this was flavored with pineapple or aged on oak if I hadn't read the description. I got more of a grassy, herbal flavor as a whole. I still found drinking the beer an interesting experience, but overall this sour was a bit unbalanced for my taste.
