Pours a hazy red raspberry color, minimal head. Bright raspberry aroma mixes with citrus. Think raspberry orange lemonade. Flavor is hoppy citrus (lemon, orange, touch of grapefruit), with a raspberry tartness /sour aspect that pervades. Overall a nice fruit addition to a good DIPA, glad they didn’t feel the need to ruin it with lactose.

Tall can....02/11/19 "Canned on" dating
Pours the advertised dull purplish, yes magenta hue, clouded fruit smoothie kinda look.
Pepper, lime, berries on the nose.
Complex, flavorful, interesting and quite worthy offering. A lot going on here and its all delicious.....fruit, more than slightly sour, herbal, peppery, berries, citrus, coriander..yum yum yum
Can't believe how normal it now seems to pay $6.99 (at DeCicco's, Millwood, NY)) for a single can of beer....If this wasn't world class I would be pissed.

Canned on 02/11/19, it pours pinkish purple color and looks like guava or ruby red grapefruit juice. The head was off white and 1-2 fingers thick, but dissipated rather quickly and left minimal lacing. Looked like a gose and not an IPA.
Smells of cactus, red grapefruit, Razzles candy, raspberries, guava and green apple mixed with some caramel and biscuit. Earthy tones come out as it warms, along with floral hops and light peppery spices. The fruit makes it nothing like the original Afterimage.
Taste also deviates from the original Afterimage, with the raspberries, sour orange juice, red grapefruit, Razzles candy, lemon zest and then passionfruit starting things off before the citrus hops, tropical fruit, toasted grains and biscuit trail. There are some piney notes, spices like coriander and tea leaf, and then a puckering sour aspect like a tart green apple. It's bitter at times and sour as well. The raspberries come on stronger as it trails, mixing well with the malty base.
