Very Good
Maximum DelightMaximum Delight
Notes: Maximum Delight is a dual-hop DIPA featuring Citra and Idaho 7 is exceptionally aromatic, clean, and juicy. Hopped at 8 lbs/bbl, Maximum Delight delivers all the big plush fruity hop character of citra, plus the dank green hoppy intensity of Idaho 7. Plenty of overripe peachy-nectarine stone fruit character, mango, and hop resin. German pils is the base malt for this beer, bringing a subtly paler yellow hue.

On tap at Tap and Mallet in Rochester, NY.

This one pours a very hazy golden yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.

This one smells like mango, pine, candied lemon and melon, and stone fruit.

This has a deep and creamy juiciness to it - it's just delightful. Grimm seems to be fully back into the fray - slinging high quality juice grenades and cool funky little numbers around again, all out of their own spot. There's a little bit of resinous bitterness on the back end, bringing a nice balance to it all.

This is medium bodied and quite creamy, with a great level of drinkability.

I continue to be very happy with the Grimm beers I've had lately.

Can from City Swiggers on the UES.
Pours a quite hazy golden straw yellow with a wet and frothy white head and runny lacing, smell is dank orange pith, mild citrus candy and peppery spice, hints of papaya/mango, taste is muted FAO commissary/boxed orange juice, sour and bitter lychee pit, some dank/herbal spice notes, and a searing spicy bitterness that lingers, this beer is medium bodied with nice carbonation. I could consume this like the canned air in Spaceballs for sure, and the taste is a dank delight with a bitter left hook. A surprisingly spicy/dank beer from Grimm. I am delighted to the max.

Pours a very hazed gold with one finger of ivory colored head. Zero head retention & lacing

S: Citrus, a little pine & cattyness once warm. A little peach shows as this warms

T: Tangerine, grapefruit dryness & a little breadyness up front. More grapefruit, a little powdery dryness as this warms. Tangerine & dryness in the finish

MF: Medium body, moderate carbonation, good balance

Easy to drink, solid take on the style

A: The beer is very hazy to cloudy pale yellow in color. It poured with a quarter finger high dense bright white head that gradually died down but consistently left a short head covering the surface and lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of gooseberries, limes, and stone fruit are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell, having flavors of gooseberries and stone fruit along with notes of limes and hints of lychee and pine, the latter of which contributes a light amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied, a little juicy, and slightly chewy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I really enjoyed the complexity of different flavors in the taste of this IPA.
