Notes:
Single-hopped with Hersbrucker, this unfiltered pilsner is gently floral with warm notes of honeysuckle, chamomile, and clover honey. Pilsner dominates the malt bill, but a small percentage of Vienna lends a quiet complexity and a touch of sweetness to the grist. As with all of our pilsners, we utilized a traditional rising-temperature step mash.

On tap at Grimm Artisan Ales in Brooklyn, NY.
This one pours a clear golden yellow, with a small head and lots of lacing.
This has a nice floral hop character, with some grassiness and almost tea-like aromas, with some biscuity malty, too.
Like pretty much all of Grimm’s lagers so far, this is quite tasty. The hop character is pleasantly floral and crisp, and the malt character is snappy and bready.
This one drinks super easy, with a crisp bite on the finish.
Quite unsurprisingly, this was very enjoyable.

A: The beer is hazy light yellow in color and has slight hues of amber. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that left a patch of bubbles on the surface, a narrow collar around the edge and lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of floral hops are present in the nose - honeysuckle seems to stand out in particular.
T: The taste follows the smell and has underlying hints of bready malts.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied and slight "chewy" on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I really enjoyed the aromas and flavors of honeysuckle in this pilsner.
Serving type: can
