Notes:
Pineapple Rebus, our latest foeder-fermented golden sour ale, is an elegant showing of big juice flavors. The tropical and tangy notes of pineapple blend beautifully with our mixed culture, and bring out all bright fruit characteristics you can sometimes get from brettanomyces. Pure pineapple dominates the nose, with a slight overripe funk and sour from the brett and lacto lending a compelling complexity.

16.9oz bottle. No dating information found.
Mostly clear, straw colored body. Several finger white head builds quickly and then retreats to its own steady pace. Nearly scattered elongated spots of lacing.
Aroma is sweet funk, with leather and bubble gum in equal measure. Pineapple is a minor note.
Taste is tart. Very tart pineapple. Oak and leather. Quite complex throughout the taste profile. Dry lemon lime in the aftertaste.
Medium mouth feel. Very bubbly in the mouth. Drying finish, including an effective tooth scrape. Excellent carbonation.
Well executed for appearance in the glass and for oak barrel complexity in the flavors.

Aroma has abundant yeast and pineapple hints
The taste follows the nose with a nice balance of sourness and pineapple flavor
