Notes:
This is everything we want out of a pale ale — big aromas with a refreshing crisp and mostly dry body. Amarillo and Huell Melon give us a nose of fresh honeydew, citrus soda, and muscat gummy candy. The hop character is more restrained in the flavor — the softer experience of a slightly underripe prickly pear.

16 ouncer, "canned 10/05/20"
Pour hazed and on the lighter side, leaves some fine, whispy strands of lacing.
Sniff is faintly of pineapples.
Lighter, citrusy, fresh and lively tasting. Some lime, and again light pineapple.....a bit thin flavor wise....sort of a New England style pale ale with training wheels....would likely go great with some summery salads, bread and cheeses. Worth a try

a very tasty and ultra modern pale ale here, light as can be in the glass, almost thin like water, and even though its not perfectly clear its insanely light, looks like soda almost, with bubbles clinging to the edges of the glass but not accumulating in much head despite all the fizz. it smells like pineapple candy, ripe mango, and peach rings, but without any sweetness or bitterness, its minimal beer, with just a little bit of pils quality to the grain base and some minerals and a real clean fermentation profile. the flavor is excellent, its all about these juicy hops they arent overdone at all. they dont say what the hops are, but it could be some amarillo or el dorado leading the way, some melon in the taste which is nice with the light grain, and some sweet lemon too. its fresh as can be, and the hops are amazing, but overall this seemed just a little stripped down to me, like it could use a little more body, some yeast character, or some bitterness, something to round it out, its basically just dry hops, but its a great combination and the quality of the beer is predictably high from these guys. a nice morning drink, good on a hangover, something i could make a day and night of. always a pleasure to drink beer from grimm!

look: 3.75 | smell: 3.25 | taste: 3.5 | feel: 3.25 | overall: 3.5
Overall a gross disappointment from Grimm. A thin watery mouth feel without much aroma or flavor. Pours a clear deep yellow with a half inch white head that left a few spots of lacing. Smell is very mild with some citrus and a nondescript sweetness. Tastes of grapefruit, melon, apple and a bit of sweetness. Light bodied, thin mouth feel, dry finish and moderate carbonation.
