Pours a somewhat clear and slightly cloudy golden color. A moderate sized frothy head dissipates to yield a thin film.
The nose opens with an appealing combination of soft tropical fruit and herbaceous, green, grassy and dank hops. The fruity aromas evoke notes of papaya, passion fruit and guava, and including notes of pear. Later on, the malt aromas open up to yield sweet notes of cookie dough.
Opens juicy with a firm biscuity and doughy malt backbone that is chewy. The tropical fruit flavors align with the aroma. A quickly developing bitterness, combined with the caramel like malt fullness, reminds me more of a classic DIPA than an IPA. The herbaceous hops flavors are very earthy, piney, grassy, resiny and super dank. I’m loving this overall balance and complexity of flavors.
Medium to full bodied, although it lightens up somewhat over time, making for easy drinking. The mouthfeel is smooth with a moderate but crisp carbonation. The finish is long and dry with a resiny bitterness.
This is one of the better IPAs I’ve had lately. Truly delightful! A delicious blend of tropical fruit flavors with dank and resiny spices and balancing bitterness. Hope to have this again.

16oz. can into Night Shift stemware.
Nose is citrus, pineapple and cane sugar. Juicy and pretty aromatic. Beer opens citrus, mango, pineapple and starfruit. Acidic and robust with huge tropical fruit notes. Cane sugar and a big malt body in the middle. Softer at the finish with more pineapple in the aftertaste. Body is light with ample carbonation. Prickly and lively on the palate and goes down aggressive with a dry finish.
A solid IPA. A lot of flavor in not-a-lot of ABV which is appreciated.
