I might be the biggest Grimm fan in Vermont, and I lucked out getting a growler fill of the original
Comic Sans, which was a novelty single IPA that had no bitterness, no booziness, and a sweet coconut vibe.
Comic Sans Cashmere held great promise to me in concept, because I love Grimm and Cashmere hops, however IMO this should have been left a single IPA: easily the booziest 8% Grimm I've ever tasted. Between the strong hit of booze, and the sweetness of the marshmallow fluff, toasted coconut plus milk sugar, the Cashmere hops just don't seem staged very well, and it's hard to tell where they fit in, and exactly what they were aiming for with each sip of this hot, sweet IIPA other than a solid wave of coconut riding over the top of the 8%. I like the fact that Grimm is willing to experiment, and it usually pays off huge: this one I'm not so sure of. Glad to have tried it regardless: maybe a couple weeks in the can may improve the mix of ingredients.
