Notes:
This bière de miel is brewed with buckwheat honey from Nature’s Way Farm in the Finger Lakes and fermented with a mixed culture of farmhouse ale yeast and brettanomyces. To add the perfect touch of complexity, we blended this young beer with select barrels of aged sour ale from our barrel library.

Drinking this at Tapped Craft and Drafts Tap Room in Greenville NC.
Poured from a tap into a 10 ounce glass.
Looks clear golden yellow with a nice foamy head that dropped quickly to a thin ring.
Smells lightly bready, a little sour, spicy and lightly funky.
Taste follows the nose nicely, lacking in yeasty flavors as much as I would like.
More sour and honey than Farmhouse funky.
Mouth feel is medium for the style.
Overall a good example of a Farmhouse Ale but I probably wouldn't order again.
Cheers!

Pours a clear light yellow, minimal head. Light, funky aroma, some sweet honey is noticeable. Flavor is funky, a bit tart and sour, a little sweet. Light carbonation and light bodied. Overall, just ok, doesn’t stand out.

Bottle from the brewery during the 2020 COVID pause. Pours a warm light amber/gold with sticky white head that lingers, smell is sour green apple skins, white grape must, funky sour wet hay, and sweet soft caramel, taste is a light honey/caramel/Belgian candy malts up front, transitions to green apple sweetness, finishes with a funky grassiness, this beer is medium bodied with minimal carbonation. A Belgian farmhouse with a sour funky twist, like if a Leffe had a sour milk finish, interestingly different.
