Not sure when this was bottled - tasted 12/3/2020. This brew tends towards a barrel-aged stout or almost a barleywine. It's got very little carbonation, very high ABV, and a nutty, leathery flavor. It's a sipper, and there are lots of good flavors to enjoy in each sip. Sweet, but not too much, which was good because it kept the feel from ending up in cough syrup territory. Kind of reminiscent of Tree House's "Tree of Life" barleywine. Overall, I enjoyed the beer, but wasn't my favorite style for a stout.
