This Vienna-style lager was brewed with a double decoction mash — our first time using this historical process for our lagers! With a base of German Vienna malt and a touch of CaraAroma, Cross Stitch is a warming, toasty lager with a smooth mouthfeel. Aromas of freshly baked bread and subtle caramel are complemented by flavors of sweet malt and toffee, ending with a crisp finish.

A good malty and flavorful Vienna lager. Not too dark in color, somewhat medium dark golden amber with some strong carbonation and an off white head. Cereal malts, floral character, clover honey, It's simply and well done. It's like your favorite Vienna lager except the good good batch you would only ever be lucky to try in a blue moon. It's nice, simple, and hits the spot.

Can from the brewery in Brooklyn. Pours an almost clear medium amber with two fingers of rocky white head, nice lacing, smell is crackers, doughy biscuits, wheat bread, hint of lemon and grass, taste is light brown wheat bread, mild sour grain and grassy finish, feel is light, medium carbonation. A robust and grassy lager.

A: The beer is a little hazy amber in color and has some yellowish hues and a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that left a collar around the edge and a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface.
S: Light to moderate aromas of toasted malts are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has flavors of toasted malts.
M: It feels medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is malty, but doesn't seem as heavy compared to other beers in the style. It is very drinkable.

Can purchased from FLX Wienery in Dundee, NY.
This one pours a dark-ish amber color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This one smells like fresh crusty bread, caramel, and grassy hops.
This is simple but clearly quite well done. The malt backbone is spot on, with slight caramel sweetness, and lots of fresh bready malt character. There's a light but crisp hop character - slightly spicy and grassy.
This is light bodied, clean, and super drinkable, with a great crisp finish.
Grimm really seems to be taking great care in making to style lagers, and I'm very much *here* for that.

Amber pour with a sturdy two-finger off-white head that laces. True to the Vienna taste and tradition. Caramel and malty taste with a satisfying dry grain finish. Could almost hear Mozart while I drank it!
