Appearance: On draft. Hazy golden color. One full inch of lofty white head with big bubbles. The foam was clingy and persistent.
Aroma and Taste: Strong notes of ripened tropical fruit. Big dankness. Berries. Reminiscent of a scented soap. Hoppy. The alcohol is in there, but it takes you a moment to notice it.
Feel: Strong carbonation. Mediocre thickness. Little bit of dryness.
Overall: You won't be disappointed if you like the style. The berry character adds some uniqueness without being overpowering. The brewers put some effort into the balance of thus beer, and it should be appreciated.
Pairing: The bitterness of the hops and the tropical fruit sweetness matched the carmelized onions and offset the spicy arugula on a grilled chicken sandwich. Not the greatest pairing but it wasn't bad either.

Pours a hazy light orange with soft, fine head.

Taste is fruity, juicy, sweet and a bit dank. Notes of gummy candy, citrus, melon and peach with a moderate bitterness.
Mouthfeel is medium, soft and well carbonated.
Overall, a very nice, easy to drink DIPA.

From a week-old can, pours a hazy light gold. Nice dense head of white foam leaves sticky lacing. Smell and taste are huge, with tons of tropical fruit, citrus, berry and lots of dank weed. Is it a coincidence that NY just legalized pot today? Maybe. Nice dry bitterness in the finish. Superb beer from one of my favorite breweries.

Afterimage is one of my favorite offerings from Grimm, and this one (Afterimage dry hopped again with Strata) might actually edge it out. This is great drinking. White foamy head dissipates somewhat quickly, but leaves a sticky lace on the glass. Really dank on the nose with a good amount of sweet fruits and juice, berries, watermelon. Taste follows, fruity, pineapple orange and some herbaciousness. The aftertaste is really good, bitter from the hops, and lingering with just a bit of booziness. Really good stuff.
