A good beer, but this is a NEIPA not an AIPA!!! Hazy straw yellow color, mix of tropical and citrus fruit, mild bitterness, hazy IPA written on the can...a NEIPA alright!! That being said, this is well done. Poured from a 16 oz can into a pint glass, this beer features a small foamy white head with better than average retention and good lacing. The color is standard NEIPA hazy dull yellow. Aroma and taste feature a nice mix of malt, tropical fruit and citrus (mostly grapefruit). The bitterness level is mild. Mouthfeel is juicy and somewhat crisp. NEIPA all the way and well done!!

Can purchased at Fattey Beer Company in Rochester, NY.

This one pours a hazy golden orange color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.

This smells like grassy and piney hops, with stone fruit, orange, and mango.

I love seeing Grimm still making solid little IPAs – they were an early favorite for me, chasing beers like Tesseract and Lambo Door back in the day. This has a pleasant little bitterness to it, with lots of stone fruit, juicy mango and pineapple, and no maltiness.

This is light bodied, but slightly creamy, and super drinkable.

This is nothing insane, but just tasty and consistent.

A: Poured from the can into a Tree House tulip. Body is lighter than expected - lightish yellow/golden with a small whitish head on top.

S: Good nose of tropical fruity hops jumps out of the glass. Think mango, papaya, ripe melon. Also a touch of ripe peaches.

T: Taste follows the nose, with a tropical fruit salad of mango, papaya, melon and some citrus (limes, grapefruit peel).

M: Slightly syrupy, call it medium in heft.

O: Good. When you break it down, it's not great, but it's solid.

Can from the brewery in Brooklyn. Pours a hazy dark gold with a finger of creamy white head that lingers, smell is candy/caramel malts, papaya, mango, peach, orange zest, and herbal/pine hops, hints of marshmallow, yellow cake, and gooseberry/tomatillo, taste is orange peel, yellow orange flesh, mango, mild pithy bitterness, hints of caramel and yellow cake, feel is medium bodied, medium creamy carbonation, mild carbonic bite, dry finish. Sweet, tropical, and dry.
