Still searching for the cream ale to tingle my toes...
Nothing necessarily bad about the brew, just an also-ran from my experience. The look is slightly underwhelming, smell is mostly wheaty with a heavy astringent but slightly creamy mouthfeel. All of it leading to a just-as-wheaty taste making the whole think pretty much midland...Decent enough to give it a try, though...

16oz can from Tavour. Pale, foggy golden pour, one finger foamy head slowly fades. Grainy aroma, corn, sweet. Taste is bready, mild sweetness, biscuity, corn and oats. Smooth and really tasty. High marks from somebody who drank a lot of Genny Cream back in the day

This one pours a golden orange color, with a small foamy head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like corn, sugar cookie, bready/nutty malt, and grassy hops.
This is a nice cream ale, with a pleasant bready and lightly sweet malt character, and just a hint of fresh cut grassy bitterness on the back end. Cream ales are kind of what I grew up on, and this is a nice updated version of a New York classic.
This is lighter bodied and really drinkable, with a nice smooth and creamy finish.
I keep loving these lighter canned Grimm beers – they do a great job with them.

Pours a slightly hazy light orange, brief 1" off white head, light lacing. Nose is sweet grain and white grapes, almost like a white wine devoid of any oak. Taste is nicely balanced though between yeasty bread and sweet malt. Very reminiscent of a Genny cream, though dialed back on the sweetness and slight ethyl kick of that brew. Mouthfeel is smooth with a solid carb. Overall, delivers on what it sets out for.

A: The beer a tad hazy and has a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a short white head that quickly died down and left a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light aromas of pale malts are present in the nose along with hints of corn.
T: The taste has flavors of pale malts with hints of sweetness.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is easy to drink and is a good representation of the style.
Serving type: can
