Notes:
This rich and decadent imperial milk stout is layered with silky flavors; Kenyan Kieni AA arabica beans, prized by our friends at Sey Coffee for their brightness and berry-like complexity, mingle with toasted coconut flakes and vanilla for a deeply satisfying stout that shows each element in a harmonious balance.

Pours out dark brown with a finger of khaki rocky head. This looked pretty thick on the pour.
On the nose the coffee is huge. Big roasty coffee and roasted malt create this dominant presence. Coconut and vanilla are very faint. You can tell there is some sweetness.
Taste is coffee beans and roasted malt. This would normally be pretty bitter but the sweetness from the coconut and vanilla balance it out. Coconut always creates this veneer that may not always show up in flavor, but in presence. This definitely has it. But coffee still controls the audience.
Mouthfeel is smooth, creamy, and dense. Fullbodied, a little cloying and sticky.
Overall a pretty damn good brew. This is definitely one for the coffee enthusiasts of the craft beer world.

Pours a dark, golden brown with a delicious, foamy three finger head. Aroma is dark malt and coffee. Taste is coffee, coconut and vanilla at the end. Deliciously sweet and thick, the brew coats the tongue nicely. As the beer warms, it becomes more blended.

A: The beer is jet black in color. It poured with a short off white head that quickly died down, leaving a thin collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of coffee beans are present in the nose along with notes of chocolate.
T: The taste follows the smell and has additional notes of lactose and hints of coconut.
M: It feels medium- to full-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: You can definitely get the sense that this beer is strong based on its heavy mouthfeel but it does a very good job at masking the alcohol from the taste.
