Cloudy, pale yellow in color with a thick white head that leaves nice lacing. Nose is very floral with hints of citrus. Taste is very juicy. I declare this a hazy IPA. Good beer but not a regular IPA

Easy pour. Goes down easy. Fruity ... ? Sure. A little sweet finish, but not overwhelming like some other IPAs.

An unusual IPA. Poured from a 16 oz can into a pint glass, this beer looks like the typical "Mach 1 Mod 1" NEIPA. Mildly hazy (less hazy than most NEIPAs) straw yellow color, big foamy head and lots of lacing. The nose dispels any NEIPA comparisons. This is one has one of the most floral aromas of any IPAs I have had recently. The Simcoe hops really shine in this beer. The flavor features more tropical fruit and limes than it does grapefruit. Good call labeling this beer an AIPA vice NEIPA!!!! Mouthfeel is crisp and pleasant. Bitterness is fairly mild but there is some citrus sharpness. Goes down easily!!! Good IPA.

Here's just one more in the boring line of barley deprived modern "IPA"s. That doesn't mean it can't be good, but chances are greatly diminished for a true lover of the original style. Of course, this all begins with a puffy stark white foam inside a clear glass liter mug. It's so puffy that a pint can's contents are barely able to fit. Of course, the foam recedes quickly, unevenly and unattractively, leaving irregular glass lacing. The beer is dull and opaque apricot-amber in color. Yawn, because it's been seen before. There's some redemption because the smell brings some hoppiness, mainly earthy and a little resinous. The starch seems to be mainly oats. Likely, it is oats, as this has a soft body and it's a little richer than a wheat based beer. Lacking the barley malt counterbalance that made the original IPAs so popular and tasty, this certainly can't satisfy a purist. Not that it's bad, but the Simcoe hops don't bring enough bite to mitigate the lack of a good malty backbone. Not only that, they're not biting here, like they should be, especially during the finish. This is moderately hoppy, sorely lacking of body and without the complexity barley malt would most likely have provided.

Pours a hazy gold with a pretty good head for a NEIPA. Slight aroma of hops. Fairly bitter with some citrus, pretty restrained sweetness, probably the driest among Grimm IPAs I've had. Not my favorite but not bad. Solid full feel.
