Fairly average NEIPA from Grimm. They typically make great hazies/IPAs, but this one is just ok. Somewhat juicy, somewhat thin, this is not hiding any complexity as it's a one trick pony while drinking at 8%. Notes of peach, mango, white grape. I'm getting mostly El Dorado flavors while Nelson and Cashmere seem to be lacking. This can is approaching two months, perhaps the flavors were bursting weeks ago. Low bitterness with a touch of dryness. This is fine to drink, but not top tier

 

From a 16oz can dated 07/25/2023. From the Grimm website: “ Introducing TOP KNOT, our new Double IPA featuring El Dorado, Cashmere and Nelson Sauvin hops. Top Knot is bursting with red berry and peach on the nose giving way to immense strawberry and watermelon sweetness on the mid palate, finishing with a distinctive lingering coconut richness from the Cashmere hops.” Nice DIPA.
