Copenhagen 12/3 2024. 47,3 cl can from Kihoskh, Sønder Boulevard, Kbh. V. Purple can with drawing of some obscure piece of machinery.
Pours opaque, golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Settles as thin, patchy layer of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a light sweet fruity odor mingling with a stronger, tart scent of unripe berries and citrus fruit. Currants and peach. Sour grapes anf gooseberries. Citrus.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, smooth, almost flat texture.
Flavor is intense with a light sweetness followed by a strong tart sourish bitterness. Aftertaste is tart without being unforgiving. Lingers for a while into a dry finish.
Tart and dry and pretty light for a DIPA.

Pours a hazy light orange with soft, soapy head.
Smell is fruity and crisp with notes of gummy candy, orange juice and grapes with some sweet hints.
Taste is crisp, fruity and spicy. Notes of gummy candy, gooseberries, grapes, white wine, melon and orange juice. Soft bitterness with a peppery finish.
Mouthfeel is medium, soft and well carbonated.
Overall, a very nice Nelson-focused DIPA, would have liked a bit more pop on the nose.
