I can taste New Zealand in this beer. A unique combination of hops provides fruitiness with strong bitterness. Flavor gets stronger as it warms. Nice aroma. Head dissipates quickly. I would look for this again.

Grabbed a can at Beers of the World. No canning date. Clear straw yellow pour with weak bubbly white head. Dissipated quickly to a thin halo with some surface foam. Some sticky lacing. Nose was not really noticeable. I’m unfamiliar really with Rakau. Enjoy Mosaic but not a big fan of Riwaka. So taste was not really what I usually want. But it was solid rich slightly dank tasting brew with some biscuit and floral touches as it warmed. Really pleasant surprise was lightly carbonated and super smooth body. Both refreshing and easy sipper. Enjoyed drinking this beer.
Overall, while hop profile/flavors were not favorites, and head retention and nose were weak…I thought was a good DIPA and glad I tried.
