Pours a dark caramel brown, big fluffy 3" tan head with good retention but pretty light lacing. Nose is rye toast, brown bread light raisin, grassy hop, toasted malt. Taste is has moderate malty sweetness, sweet molasses, but a substantial earthy and tannic finish that is very well balanced. Feel is has medium weight, light carbonation, creamy and slick. Overall, another great lager from Grimm.
