Pours a dark amber-brown with beige foam in the Baltimore Brewing stein. Aroma of grain and green herbs with alfalfa. Lush and sudsy mouthfeel gets you off to a good start. Moderately sweet with roasted malt flavors. There is a touch of bitter chocolate and a dry, grainy finish. Some woodiness in the aftertaste and a slight bitterness. Overall this is a very drinkable darker German-style brew that is something out of the ordinary. From the 16 oz can purchased on the West Coast. Dated 009/04/2025.
