This beer is BOLD!
If you order a habanero beer better damn well expect habanero! It delivers! Every drink.
Like whiskey burns ...so does this beer. You will warm up from the inside out. Make no mistake.
Looks like dark tea.
Small head.
Very little bubbles.
Tastes like what you ordered. Habanero.
Leaves a hot feel that I didn’t get till at least 5 secs after swallowing.
Good beer. If you order a habanero beer.
Cheers!

a decent base amber ale done up with habanero peppers, a hot one for sure, perhaps hard to control in a beer, to keep it from taking over and being undrinkable to all but the pepper heads. they did a nice job getting its flavor but not the full wrath of its potential heat in this beer. a nice brick red color to it, deeper and redder than a lot of traditional ambers, maybe a bit more malt in here to balance the pepper, it does smell a little sweet, but the pepper comes through nicely with what i always describe from it as a mango and citrus complexion, like oranges and meyer lemons, that bright orange flesh is obvious, fresh and real to me, it smells a lot hotter than it drinks. the pepper is natural in the taste too, with the heat almost all on the swallow and a lot of citrus to it, it almost comes clean each time i swallow it, but the heat does totally build up a little bit each pull. some nuttiness to the grain keeps it balanced, and while pepper beer overall has never really been my thing, its hard not to tip the cap to this, which delivers the true flavor of the pepper in a well rounded beer with a tolerable heat level. i didnt love the branding or anything here, but the beer was solid across the board.

I tried this right at the brewery. It was very spicy couldn't even drink it. I could see someone who loves spicy food maybe enjoying this. I wouldn't ever order it again but I appreciate the creativity. Exactly what we need in the beer industry!
