Part of our experimental series, Sahti is a turbid amber-colored ale made with Juniper berries and honey from Littleton’s White Mountain Apiary. Low in carbonation, with aromas of banana, juniper and honey.

Received a 32oz crowler as a gift. Rather beautiful cloudy golden color with little foam. Lots of banana and clove typical of Finnish Sahti style along with some bubble gum - curious to know what yeast is used. Very light carbonation, substantial body. Moderate bitterness present behind the big flavors. Not sure if I was picking up any juniper, will have to have another go at it sometime, and will look forward to doing so. Kippis!
