Thanks to Andy
Nice fizzy bubbly head, good retention with streaming bubbles, slight hazy pale watery color

Nose very gose, very earthy raw bread dough, lacto light sour funk and doughy lemony note, lactic acid notes and light guava, touch herbs and passion fruit but barely

Taste more lacto funk and lactic acid light tartness, light doughy malt, raw shortbread dough, not yeasty, mild guava and even less passion fruit but the finish brings more, light salt and coriander, drier finish not too flemmy

Mouth is med to lighter bod, good medium to higher carb, light acidity

Overall pretty good, fruit is a little light but I'd rather it be light that so overpowering that there's no more gose

16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned in 7/2019. Pours very hazy medium golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big tart/tangy passion fruit, pink guava, fruit skin/seed, lemon, lime, peach, pear, apricot, melon, red/green apple, berries, white grape/wine, sea salt, coriander, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, light peppercorn/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of guava, passion fruit, fruity/acidic yeast, coriander, sea salt, and pale/wheat malt notes; with big strength. Taste of big tart/tangy passion fruit, pink guava, fruit skin/seed, lemon, lime, peach, pear, apricot, melon, red/green apple, berries, white grape/wine, sea salt, coriander, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, light peppercorn/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tartness, fruit tang, and light coriander spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart/tangy passion fruit, pink guava, fruit skin/seed, lemon, lime, peach, pear, apricot, melon, red/green apple, berries, white grape/wine, sea salt, coriander, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, light peppercorn/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of guava, passion fruit, fruity/acidic yeast, coriander, sea salt, and pale/wheat malt flavors; with a fantastic malt/tartness and tangy fruit balance; with no puckering/astringent flavors after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering tartness, tangy fruit, and carbonation. Medium-plus carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/grainy, and fairly crisp/acidic/tangy/tannic mouthfeel that is fantastic. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.8%. Overall this is an outstanding fruited gose. All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of guava, passion fruit, fruity/acidic yeast, coriander, sea salt, and pale/wheat malt flavors; very smooth, refreshing, and fairly crisp to drink with the mellowly acidic/tangy/tannic/drying finish. Fantastic soft feel, mellowly lactic/salty. Very flavorful and not watery for the ABV. Perfectly balanced juicy fruits, Lacto complexity, and pale/wheat malts against acidity. Mild residual sweetness with crisp acidic/tangy dryness. A highly enjoyable offering, and outstanding spot on style example.

Poured into a pokal, the appearance had a bright yellow color with a nice transparency about it. Modest finger's worth of white foamy head sustained appropriately for a good minute before dissipating and left in a respectable time to leave some concave lace.
The aroma had the gose qualities of sour-ed wheat, salt and coriander up front, nice and emphatic. Guava and passion fruit tartness hardens the overall nose to be a bit more complex without overdoing it. Light funk developing as it warms.
The flavor blends sour to the tart with the wheat and the fruitiness running through each other. Saltiness seems to slide into the backbone a bit more here. Super quick aftertaste, really seems almost not there, however, there is just some tart guava/passion fruit, salt and sour-ed wheat.
The mouthfeel was between light and medium bodied with a good sessionability about it. Sturdy carbonation punching against the sour harshness to end up taming the feel all around. Not much of a finish, but seemed semi-salty with some coriander and guava/passion fruit tartness, touch of dryness.
Overall, very much a gose as in the traditional sense but also bringing in a certain creativity just to ensure this is Schilling's beer. I'd definitely have again.
