Notes: Sessionable and effervescent, this progressive variation of traditionally tart wheat ale is brewed with gentle salinity, fermented with our house culture, and balanced by tangerine and apricot additions.

Can stamped "081619."
This was poured into a stange.
The appearance was a glossy yellow color with some cloudiness but also a small remnant of transparency. A two and a half fingers worth of white foamy head sat there for a little bit before sliding off eloquently. Messy lace strings it's way in waves across the glass.
The aroma shapes itself around some funk, salt, sour-ed wheat, apricot and tangerines flesh. Intricately intertwined with pizazz noting some subtle grassy hops and tart features.
The flavor, once again, like the aroma blended all of those prior mentioned aromas together, sweetly through some funk, grassy with those added fruits but not overbearing. Mild aftertaste of salt, funk, sour with a touch of tart, grassy and the apricot/tangerine goodness.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied, maybe a touch over and having a fine sessionability about it. Good carbonation with a semi-smooth funky/earthy finish of wheaty malts and tart fruits.
Overall, many brewers try to brew fruited goses but tend to take it too far; Schilling always seems to be able to brew to style but also allows their creative edge to add in that finer touch for pure enjoyment!

This one pours a slightly hazy golden orange color, with a small head, and not much lacing.

This smells briny and saline, with wheat, citrus, tangerine, and just a touch of apricot.

This has a much more present salt character than most fruited goses you'll find out there lately - which are just fruit bombs that don't actually taste like much goses. There's unfortunately a slightly buttery flavor - I'm not sure if it's diacetyl, something else, or I'm imagining it, but luckily it's not a strong flavor. There's a moderate amount of fruit flavor, and definitely more tangerine than apricot.

This is light bodied and creamy, with a nice crispness, and a really solid drinkability.

Despite the minor off-flavor, this was a fun beer, and mostly well-constructed.
