A: The beer is crystal clear light yellow in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that quickly settled down, leaving just a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light aromas of grassy hops are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has flavors of grassy hops along with underlying hints of pilsner malts. There is a light amount of bitterness.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied and very clean on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I really liked the clean mouthfeel of this pilsner. It is very easy to drink.

From a 16 oz. can with a stamped date on the bottom of 02/27/2020. Sampled May 15, 2020.

It looks exactly like a Pilsner should with its bright golden color, bubbly carbonation, modest white hed, and exquisite clarity.

The aromas emit toasted bread, grass, floral hops but a slightly odd olive oil note.

Light body. Easy drinking.

Sweet grainy malts begin the tasting experience with a slight lingering yet clean and crisp grassy finish. Refreshing all the same.

Pint can 2/27/20
"Italian" Style Pilsner
Opened and reviewed on 3/15/20

Clear golden color, And I DO mean clear and golden! Jazzy when poured, relaxes nicely as the session moves forward. Short white cap, holds on tight, dissipates away eventually.

The nose is classic oils with a kick...
Buttery, herbal and slightly spicy pilsner malt is spot-on. Green, grassy, minty hops is Right on, but here's the kick... Wild berry fruitiness aroma sets it apart from tradition. The classic sour ish funk of the Pups yeast brings the aroma on home.

Light and crispy mouthfeel as expected, but the malt brings that soft buttery feel, not in the least bit cloying but changes course just as it should on the palate.

One word: Balance. It's perfect.
The malt taste's crisp, herbal with golden grains of the field. The hops have a fun fruity flavor that is subtle but adds a completely new dimension that maximizes the usual grassy, minty and spicy hop kick. Yeast plays it's traditional sour ish funk part, and it brings the style together.

The Italian pilsner sure seems much like the German pils meets Czech pils in most ways, at any rate, it's a Pilsner worth it's weight in gold.
