Notes: Sessionable and effervescent, this progressive variation of traditionally tart wheat ale is brewed with gentle salinity, fermented with our house culture, and balanced by the addition of rich, tart blackberries.

Draft pour. Pours a very light purplish color with a small head. Aroma and taste are light wheat with a hint of tart berries and salinity. Not overly flavorful or complex but decent enough.

A: The beer is very hazy yellow in color with some pinkish hues. It poured with a half finger high white head that left some patches of bubbles on the surface, some lacing clinging to the sides of the glass, and a narrow collar after it settled down.
S: Light aromas of sourness are present in the nose along with notes of yogurt and hints of blackberries.
T: The taste follows the smell and is a bit sour but has stronger notes of blackberries in the flavors along with those of yogurt. The blackberry flavors are most noticeable in the finish.
M: It feels light-bodied and a bit tart and creamy (yogurt-like) on the pallet with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This gose is pleasant and easy to drink. I particularly enjoyed the creamy yogurt-like mouthfeel and all of the blackberry flavors in the taste.

Poured from a 16 oz can into a stemmed tulip glass.

Pours a hazy golden orange color with 2 fingers of sudsy white head. The head leaves a few spots of lace before settling into a thin layer of foam.

The aroma brings notes of blackberries, dark cherries, and coriander. There's some wheat bread on the back end with some subtle salinity.

The flavor brings a ton of coriander, with the blackberries taking a back seat. There's some sea salt and wheat before a finish of spices.

The feel is light bodied with good carbonation. Very crisp with some lingering tartness and salinity.

Overall, a very good Gose that is nicely tart yet fruity and balanced. The coriander adds a nice citrus-like character that holds back the tart blackberry flavor.

A moderate pour with a kick at the end yielded a finger of creamy off-white foam with a hint of orange, long retention and small spots of lacing. Very cloudy orange-straw color, I can barely see my fingers through it.

Tart cherries greet the nose, it states "blackberries" on the label. Sour milk is present along with toasted wheat.
A faint whiff of funky silage lurks in the background.

The taste is neutral on sweetness and low on bitterness, the sea salt replaces bitter with salt. A fermented fruit cocktail of lemon, general citrus, mixed berries and pineapple emerges. The wheaty malt is subtle yet balances the sourness.
The finish is tart and fast, the aftertaste is faint malt and salt.

Light body with reserved carbonation, refreshing and perfect for hot weather. The alcohol is very well hidden. I do not taste blackberry in this session-able delight, that's ok there are plenty of other flavors.

Always good to have some sour stuff around for the nice weather and blackberries were just calling my name when I saw this

Pours a hazy orange with a soft pink glow, a finger of white head that fades fast and leaves no lacing

A nice blend of citric tartness and jammy berries in the nose, backed with just a hint of salinity, almost giving this one a floral character

The taste follows the nose for the most part with the coriander coming in full force to spice things up. It probably could've done without that, but that doesn't make it awful. The sip is pretty consistent throughout, but the finish is just a touch sweeter than the rest, as a reminder that this is fruited

Light peppy carbonation and a light body with a slightly sticky finish, but this is crisp enough to be refreshing

So this was good. Simple? Sure. Solid? Absolutely. Not gonna be my first choice when I'm feeling a gose, but I also wouldn't turn one down
